The only Constant
After a few years away from home, so much is different around here. The expectations, the dreams, the traffic, the relationships. I am different, so the way I see the world is too.
I remember 2012, when I left home and took a step into the unknown. Then I gained a family and such dear friends. I experienced the sovereign God, the Faithful Friend, the forgiving Father, my firm, unshakable and constant Rock, in whom there is no change or shadow of turning.
He has been the only Constant over these past years and, now that I’m returning to a reality that is no longer so familiar, I put my trust in Him, certain that everything changes, but He doesn’t. That is why “the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
